Marionville Community Centre is the gathering place for all the community events organized by the various committees. These events include the winter Carnival, the Sugar Shack brunch, the corn roast, the meetings and dinners of the seniors club Le Bel Âge, the community Christmas Dinner, and the meetings and special events organized by the Marionville Citizens Committee. The Ste-Thérèse d'Avila School also uses its facilities for special events.
It goes without saying that Marionville knows how to organize great community gatherings and events for its residents, friends, families and former residents. It's always a pleasure to meet at the Community Centre, another jewel in Marionville's history....and all for the enjoyment of the residents of Marionville.
The Community Centre has been under the jurisdiction of the Township of Russell since 1986. It was completely renovated in 1989. It features a large hall that can accommodate over 250 people, a space for the seniors club Le Bel Âge, a commercial kitchen and accessible washrooms.
